We got our showers and visited a bit w/ the tired Troyer group and then found a hotel with wireless to check the weather. After extensive weather browsing it was decided that the best weather we were going to get was in Moab. So we drove to Arches National Park still edgy, getting on each others nerves, feeling cranky, and tired. We decided to hike to delicate arch. The sun came out while we were walking. Bre and I had a geek out about physics, chemistry, music, and drugs causing Laura to run ahead. The sun made the desert come alive. Colors stood out bright. Amazing neon like greens, oranges, blues, and reds. The smell of the air completed the experience. This is what we needed and we all suddenly relaxed and became care free vacationing college kids again.
